Just a Moment in My Presence

For even as the sun rises to bring life to the land every day, so does my presences shine every day anew in your life. It takes but a few second of standing in the warmth of the sun to revive you and give you the strength that you need to face the day. It is the same with me my child. It takes but a few seconds of my presence to revive you and give you the direction you need.
It doesn't matter how busy you are or how many tasks you have on your mind. Just stop for a moment and soak up the power and strength found only in my presence so that I can give you what you need to tackle each one, says the Lord.
It is here that you will find the answers you have been seeking. It is from here on that the wisdom will start bubbling out from deep within your spirit. It is here that everything will come to life and the mountains ahead of you look small and climbable.
So come to me every day and just sit in my presence for a moment. Let my warmth, my strength and my power penetrate you to the core so that you have all that you need to rise up!

Green Pastures

 

Green Pastures

A sheep has no fear when it grazes in the pasture. It simply enjoys the blessings and the time to feed. It knows that the Shepherd is watching over it and it has nothing to fear. If the food runs out, the Shepherd will take the sheep to another pasture. If a wild animal comes, the Shepherd will chase that animal way. 
In the same way I am the good Shepherd and it is my desire to take you into this season of rest my child. I desire for you to enjoy the good pastures that I have brought you to. I desire for you to rest and to give me all of your cares. So often though, you do not take the time to enjoy the pastures because you worry when the pasture will run out. You worry if a wild animal will come and harm you.
My child put your trust into me. Have I ever let you down? If a natural shepherd would give his life for his flock, how much more will I give everything I have for you? Put your trust into me and enter into my rest. Enter and enjoy the good pastures that I have given to you. Rather experience my peace than worry and fear.
I am not the author of worry. I am not the one who has brought fear into your life. These are things that the enemy would try to do. It is the enemy that wants to steal, kill and destroy. I came to give you life in abundance! So rather trust in me. Trust that I will protect you. Trust that I will take care of each need. As you lean on me now in faith, I will be faithful to cover you and to care for you says the Lord. 

Step into My Joy

Step into My Joy

After a hot day, an ocean breeze wafts over you and refreshes your spirits. In the same way I stand ready today to refresh you and to give you strength for the day that is ahead of you. It does not take long to be revived and it does not take long to reach out and touch my hand. If you do that before you begin each day, then you would begin your day with joy and peace.
It is my joy that is the strength that will take you through all of your responsibilities. It is my joy that will be a force that will overcome anything negative that the enemy might want to throw at you. No matter what you face or what circumstances you find yourself in, it is my joy that will lift your spirits and cause you to ride high above all those things.
It is my joy that will be the light to the world around you. So take time before you step out of your door to tap into my joy. Reach out to me and take it by faith. Let me wash over you and refresh your spirit and your soul. Let me fill your mind with good pictures and let me fill your heart with positive expectation.
Take this time to feel what I am feeling and to see what I am seeing. When you do this, you would see that I have only good things planned for you. You would see that I am like a father on Christmas morning, waiting in expectation to see the joy on my child's face. It delights me to fill you with my joy. It delights me to see you walk in my joy. It is only when you step out in this powerful force that you will be a light to those around you.
So put away any negative thoughts and fears today. Come to me and take hold of my joy. Then step out and know I am with you throughout each moment of the day says the Lord

I Am Waiting For You

I Am Waiting For You

As a newborn baby rests in the arms of its mother, so also do I invite you to rest in my arms child. Give me your inner struggles and the things that concern you. There are times when others do not want to hear the things you are feeling. There are times when people are too busy to understand what you are going through. I am never too busy though.
I am like a mother that is fully captured by the beauty of her child. I cannot take my eyes off you as I look at the beauty you are. Every need and every fear you have is important to me. Every struggle and every temptation you have is important to me. I want to be there to help you through all of these things. I want to be there to listen to your worries.
It is easy to get frustrated when others will not listen to you. You can become angry when they only look out for their needs and not yours. I am not like this my child. My arms are always open and I am always ready to listen. So come and sit with me and tell me out loud the things that are on your heart.
Share your goals and dreams with me. Share your fears and inner struggles with me. Share the things that you are even afraid to say out loud with me. Then as you do that, you will place your burden at my feet and I will be able to pick it up and carry it from there. Only then will your eyes suddenly clear up for you to see properly.
For what you do not realize is that all of these inner fears and thoughts are like a veil in front of your eyes. They stop you from seeing the good things that I have in store for you. Not only that, but the enemy can use them to put thoughts in your mind that are not of me. The enemy is the author of strife and not me. So lay down your burdens now. Come and talk to me my child. I sit here waiting to listen.

I Have Prepared a Way

Do not be discouraged when you see a mountain in your path says the Lord. For just as in the natural a mountain seems immovable, there are ways to overcome it. Just as man has been able to make tunnels and carve through that mountain, so also have I stretched out my hand right now to make a way through this mountain for you.
If all you look at is the mountain, you will fail to see that I have made a way in it. So take your eyes off the things that are impossible and look instead to the way that I have prepared for you to walk through. It might seem tight at first and not very obvious, but if you step out in faith, the way will open up before you.
Just as I parted the Red Sea for the Children of Israel, so also will I part the red sea for you, making a way where there is no way. However if all the Israelites did was look at the Egyptians, they would not have seen the way that I had opened up ahead of them. In the same way, take your eyes off all these other distractions and look at the way that I have prepared. If you will only face forward, you would see that I have made a way. You would see that I have gone ahead of you and prepared something wonderful.
So do not allow the enemy to distract you with his lies and the big noise that he enjoys making. Do not let your vision be filled with the mountains or the Egyptians that are after you. Instead look at my promises and what I have said I will do. Walk in faith, seeing the things that are not as though they were. Then the mountain ahead of you will not look so big any more.
The sound of the Egyptians at your heels will fade and you will start to see the new land that is ahead of you. So take my hand now child. Take hold of my promises once again and let us head out once again to the Promised Land that I have for you says the Lord. Amen.

Where true success begins

Come into my peace, my child. You will find that everything you are looking for is there. It will not be found in your striving or trying - only in my presence. For when you work from my presence and my point of peace, everything your hand touches will prosper. When you try to strive in the flesh you will always come undone.
So trust me this day and see that it is only when you are at rest in me that you accomplish all the things that I have for you. For I see the load you carry and I see the things that are around you. However, without my help, you will continue to drown under the weight of the circumstances. My load is easy and my burden is light. I do not push you but rather I lead you. When you come into my peace, I can lead you in the direction that you need to go.
It is the enemy that pushes and it is him that will push you from behind and cause you to press ahead when it is time to rest. He is the one that will cause you to miss opportunities out of fear. I do not lead with fear, but with peace. So reject the lies and the struggles. Put down your own strength and come to me.
Let me show you the door that has been open in front of you all along. Let me remind you that you are well able to carry the burden that I give to you, because along with that burden, I give you the power you need to carry it. So come then and find power in my peace. It is only there that you will truly succeed says the Lord.

It's Time to Run

It's Time to Run

Have you ever watched a rain cloud fill up? It is a slow and deliberate process. Bit by bit the water is drawn upwards with the sun until that cloud is saturated and begins to fall to the ground. In the same way I have heard your prayers and they have gathered before me as rain clouds. As you have been diligent to seek me and pray to me, I have gathered them as the sun gathers the water vapor.
At first you did not see anything and you became discouraged, but now I tell you to look up my child and see that the rain is coming! When Elijah saw the cloud the size of a man's fist, he began to run, because he knew the rain was coming. In the same way my child begin to run because the rain is coming on your life.
I have heard your prayers and all that you have invested is about to bring forth the fruit that I promised. So do not grow weary in doing good. Do not grow weary in your race, but put more effort in than ever before! Then you will see that I have truly heard your prayers and answered them in ways that you could not imagine. You will see that I have not left you, but that I have been working a plan on your behalf for some time now.
So gird up your loins and run! Prepare for the rain and my blessing. Step out in faith, knowing that I am there to carry you. Step out knowing that you are in the palm of my hand. For it is this step of faith that will be the catalyst to start the rain falling. Put aside your fears and struggles. Put aside your confusion and doubt. Hold on only to me and you will see that I am a good God and that I am here to pick you up and meet all of the needs of your heart says the Lord. 

New Life

New Life

As a baby is being prepared to be born, it goes through a time that is very uncomfortable. From feeling safe and secure in its mothers womb, suddenly a pressure it has not known before starts to come on it. It experiences something new as the womb constricts and starts to push it out towards the world.
Although this is a season of pressure, the result is a birth into something new. The child did not know the reality of life until it took its first breath and in the same way, you will only experience my life as I bring the pressures needed to release you into it.
So do not become discouraged if you begin to feel the world press in on you from all sides, because it is not meant to harm you, but to bring you to a new place of life! Although the pressures seem intense, they are but for a moment. So do not be discouraged my child, but see that I have good plans ahead of you.
If you suddenly feel the pressures and a new intensity come on you, it is because I mean for you to be tried in the fire for a season to bring out the gold. So often though it is easier to look at the things that you lose. To look at the dross that is burned off or at the safety of the womb that you have had to leave behind.
Instead of looking behind you or at the pressures, look at me instead my child. Look at my face and you will find the life you are looking for. Look at me and you will find the resurrection that you need. As you have prayed, I have answered. So embrace the pressures and look forward to the good things that they are leading you to.
See the goal and the blessing ahead, because these pressures will last only a moment. However, once you reach the goal, you will not remember the pressures any more. You will not remember the struggle any more. You will only see and rejoice in the new life and blessing that I have brought you into, says the Lord.

Feed your Faith

Feed your Faith

Consider the time it takes for a seed to grow into a tree. First it must be planted in season and then it must be given time to germinate. If the seed is not a tree overnight, you are not surprised. However in the spirit, you put in a little effort and imagine that your faith will be strong overnight.
No, my child, faith is like a mustard seed and although it has the potential to grow into something magnificent it takes time to grow. First you must use your faith with love and then also you must feed the faith that you have. The best way to grow your faith is to daily put some effort into it.
It is because of the goodness of the soil that a tree starts to grow. It takes the nutrients and as it does that, it begins to come to life! The nutrients that will feed your faith is my Word. My Word will give you the faith and the authority that you are looking for. However, if you feed your spirit on things that are contrary to my word, you contaminate the seed of faith in your heart.
Rather take time to fertilize your faith with the goodness of my Word and do not allow the poison of the world to contaminate it. For it is this poison that will stunt your faith. The fear and anger that the world feeds you acts as a devestating and bitter poison that will take all of the life from your faith.
So put these things aside and feed on my Word instead. Feed your faith daily and then watch it grow. The more you feed your faith with my Word, the more you will feel a new life stirring inside of you! You will begin to come to life again and you will feel the strength to use that faith.
Then as that seedling begins to push through and grow and be seen, you will be able to use it and see things happen. So do not grow weary in doing good today, my child. Do not grow weary in feeding your spirit with good things. What you invest into your spiritual life, you will start to reap. At first, you might not notice the fruit. If you keep investing though the tree of your faith will grow and a season of harvest will come. Then what started out as a seed would have become a life giving tree!
So invest daily into your faith. Feed it with my goodness and then watch as your spirit comes to life and as you begin to walk in a new-found power, says the Lord.

Run for Cover

Run for Cover

When the rain is pouring, all you need to avoid it is to find some cover. Sometimes, all that it will take is an umbrella to keep you dry from a sudden shower. If you are out and about though and it starts to rain and you do not have your umbrella, you will find yourself drenched and cold.
In the same way, the enemy will often come on you with his torrents of discouragement and attack. It is in these times that you need to learn to run for cover my child. For I have put people into your life to be an umbrella against the storms of life. Often you can walk around in life and face your pressures with your own measure of faith.
In the same way I have put men and women in your life as a tower and an umbrella to cover you in these moments. If you choose to walk out of this though and to go your own way, the next time the enemy attacks you will find yourself drenched and cold. If this happens, do not be discouraged my child, because it only takes a moment to run for cover again. It takes a moment to repent and to run into the warmth of my arms once again.
So, if you find yourself under attack, do not be afraid to run for cover! Do not be afraid to reach out to those I have brought to you to help you out. For I have given you to one another. I have put you in one another's lives so that your backs can be covered in the time of spiritual warfare. When you do this, then the enemy will not have anything that he can throw at you. So be on the alert and be aware of the wiles of the enemy, always knowing that you are the overcomer and that you never have to fight these battles alone, says the Lord.

Gird yourself with the truth

My child, now is the time for you to rise up and be bold. Now is the time for you to pick up the sword I have given you in my Word. The arrows the enemy has been shooting at you have been many. However, he is a defeated foe and you are not a victim of his attacks. It is time that you pick up what I have already given you and stand in the confidence you have in me, my child.
So step forward, gird yourself with the truth of my Word and pick up the sword of the spirit and push the enemy back. Kick him off the land he has stolen from you and progress forward into what I have ordained for you all along, says the Lord.
No weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD. Be bold and rise up now. It is time, says the Lord.

Heed the Trumpet Call

Heed the Trumpet Call

This day I am sending forth a trumpet call, says the Lord. I am calling all my mighty warriors to arms to come and stand as one. You have been hidden away for a long time, says the Lord, but now it is time for you to step forward. Now it is time for you to take what I have given you and to stand boldly in my name. I want you to rise up and join hands so that together you can take the land that I have been preparing for some time now.
As my mighty warriors, the leaders I have been training up, rise up in unity, a mighty shockwave will be sent through the earth. Many will be shaken and will be brought to conviction so that they can join you in the fight against the enemy in this world.
I have given you the authority to tread on serpents and on scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. First you must rise up and shake off any last trace of the hold he has had in you. Then you will be ready to take the land by storm. This is the warfare you are facing right now.
I have drowned the enemy and as you have crossed the Red Sea you are now ready to enter into the journey I have had for you all along. As you press on forward you will leave behind the ways of the old. Everything that was of Egypt will be removed so that you can follow my ways, and my ways alone, says the Lord.
So do not be surprised if I take you through a time of testing, a time of cleansing and a time of refining your calling, says the Lord. For the land that lies ahead is big. The land that lies ahead requires my mighty warriors to stand in my spirit and as they do, they will stand in my unity and shake the kingdom of darkness like never before.
So rise up now, my child! Rise up, my warrior. Do not be afraid for you are equipped for this battle. Take your place, open your eyes and stand strong in my name, says the Lord.

Focus on your track

Focus on your track

Just like a runner doesn't worry about what is to his left or his right while he is running the race, so shall you not be swayed with what is to your left or to your right. You know the road I have placed you on my child. You see the goal ahead. It is for you to simply run on the track I have placed you on.
For the enemy is only too keen to throw his distractions at you. He is only too happy to try to trick you into checking out what he is doing to your left and to your right. Dismantle his ploy right there and then and be fervent in pursuing the goal I have given to you to pursue, says the Lord.
Today just focus afresh on the goal ahead. Stick to your race and run with all that you have inside of you. Before you know it, you will reach the finish line and accomplish that for which I have placed you on this track for, says the Lord.

Let me light your candle

Let me light your candle

Just like a candle that is lit in the darkness emanates such peace, so do I bring my peace into the darkest places in your life. It takes but a spark, but a little flame to set that candle alight. If you could just give me that candle, I could bring about the things that you cannot. If you would just allow me to light that fire, the darkness would flee, says the Lord.
So often though do you run around trying to take the darkness out of your life. You run into that place and you are trying to get it out by opening windows or doors. My child, it just takes my life, my light to be ignited and the darkness would be gone. If you could just do that you would break free from any bondage. You would break free into the freedom you are seeking child.
So just come to me. Lay yourself bare before me and let me light that candle in your heart. As my peace penetrates your heart, a fire will begin to burn. The darkness will be no more and you will rise up into everything I have called you to my child.
So come now. Stop trying to fight on your own. Stop trying to find ways to get that darkness to disappear and start to focus on me. Let me reach in and allow me to transform you, says the Lord.

Keep preparing!

Keep preparing!

Even as a ground crew prepares for weeks and sometimes months before a rocket can be launched, so am I calling you to come together as one body to prepare for the new things I am about to do, says the Lord.
The time has come for the church to rise up. The time has come for my body to become a shining light just like a rocket when it is launched into space.
It attracts many and draws everyone's attention! It is time now for you to take your place, says the Lord. It is time for you to get preparing so that this rocket can be launched in power and in the right time.
Take your place now, says the Lord. Pick up the tools I have prepared for you. Take your station and press on forward. Do not grow weary and keep on going for what I have given to you to do is important. Don't ever think that what I have placed in your hands to take care of is not important.
It takes everyone to make this rocket launch successful! So stand in my strength. Stand in my power and allow my Holy Spirit to flow through you so you can stand and press forward in my power, says the Lord!

Change your tool!

Change your tool!

If you feel like you have been hitting rock as you have been working the field I placed in front of you, do not despair. Rather change your tactics. Come to me and let me give you the tools you need to dig up this piece of rock so you can start working on the ground and can move on forward, says the Lord.
Do not just press through with the first idea that I gave you, but seek me for wisdom continually. Seek me for guidance every day and let me impart to you the tools and the strength you need to work this field, says the Lord.
As you do that you will be able to press on forward in peace. You will take the land in my name and you will defeat the ploys of the enemy, says the Lord. Stand strong and look to me each day.
Ask me to give you work instructions each day. Then be bold and press on forward with the instructions I give you, says the Lord.

The Author of Life

The Author of Life

I have put you in this earth to flourish my child. My very nature is one of life and even when you look around, you see that I have destined all things for life. When I created the earth, I did not create a dead seed, but instead made them living! I made it that even though a seed would fall into the ground and seemingly die, that through this process life would come out of it.
In the same way, I have destined you for life. I have destined you to flourish and to have abundance. Although at times it might seem that the seed has fallen into the ground and died, know in these moments that the greatest phase of resurrection is about to come upon you.
So look to me as the author of life today. Look to me as the author of blessing and of abundance. For when I created this earth I did not create a little, but I created everything to flourish! I made things beautiful and to reproduce themselves.
I created a world that would not know lack. So in the same way child, can I take your life and make it flourish. I can go into the barren lands and cause them to spring forth with new things.
Only trust me. See me as the source of all blessing. See me as the one who answers your prayers and who watches over you. See me as the author of life and you will see that I have already given you the potential for greatness, says the Lord.
Put aside the fears and doubts then and come to me. Come and take hold of my abundance and you will surely see that I am a good God that desires the best for you my child. Amen.

My Truth Is as a Belt Around Your Waist

Gird your loins with my truth today, says the Lord. Wear my Word around you like you would wear a belt. A belt gives you security. It makes sure that your clothing stays in place and that you can walk without having to worry of losing your protection. This is what my truth does for you in your daily life.
If that belt has just a little tear in it though, it is not as secure. If there is but a hairline fracture in it, it may tear and fall down. So wash yourself with my Word and make sure that your belt is securely girded around you. If there is a tear, take heed. Do not just wear it hoping that it will last long enough to get you through the day. Take notice and dig in my Word to fix it.
Do not let the lies of the enemy creep in and make your belt insecure. For it is his lies and his deceptions that run rampant. He tries to find a weakness in you every second of the day so that he could try to make your belt fall. Do not be afraid though but stand securely and firmly grounded in my word and in my truth.
Put on your belt and know that you are in my hand. Look to me each day and allow me to flow through you and cleanse you so that you are strong and can take on your day in power and truth, says the Lord. Come now, and let me put that belt on you. Come to me now and receive my love afresh. Let me get you ready to head out and face your day, says the Lord.

Walk in Wisdom

Walk in Wisdom

Even as a mother who carries a child inside her womb doesn't run around to do exhausting tasks, so should you not run around taking care of things that will harm what I am birthing inside of you. My child, stay in my presence and tap into the wisdom that I have placed inside of you. Do not just take on any task just because you see that it needs doing. Be wise about it and discern in your spirit what needs to be done.
A mother is aware of the child inside and she wants to make sure that she protects that life more than anything else. She will walk circumspectly with everything she touches and also with everything she eats. So am I calling you to walk circumspectly as well.
Do not just feed on anything that presents itself before you but be discerning. Refer to my word and evaluate carefully. Know that I am right there by your side and that I have what you do not have inside of yourself.
Just take my hand and let me guide you. Do not be driven by any need, but be driven by my wisdom, says the Lord. Look to me for everything. Let me show you each day what I want you to do so that you may escape the snares of the enemy. Cling to me and you will know when you need to do what, says the Lord.

New Hope

New Hope

See how the sun breaks through the clouds my child and come take a moment to revel in them. For the storms often come and for that moment all seems dark, but today I shine upon you.
Today my light breaks through the darkness to bring you hope and peace. For I am the author of light and of love. I am here to fill your life with my blessing and to restore to you the things that the locusts have eaten.
So put aside the things you have lost and the things that you have struggled with and look now to me and you will see how much you have gained. It takes just a moment in my sunlight to be filled with hope again. So come to me today my child.
Let me fill you with my hope for the future once again. Let me wipe away the tears and the struggles. Let me wipe away the tough times and the fears in your heart. Let me wipe you clean and fill you up with my love again.
Let me remind you that I am a good God and that I have called you to walk in my joy and in my blessing. It only takes a moment in my presence to be filled up again and to be reminded how precious you are to me. So come for a moment and rest in me. Then you will feel revived once again and you will see the new visions I have for you, says the Lord. Amen.

His Voice in the Wind

His Voice in the Wind

Have you heard the sound of wind chimes blowing in the wind? They are not a strong sound and at first you do not know where the sound is coming from. However, if you close your eyes and think about the sound, it starts to become clearer. When this happens you feel a rest wash over you. You suddenly appreciate the breeze that is blowing and you do not see it as something negative any longer.
In the same way, I am speaking in the wind my child. In your circumstances and in the people around you. I am speaking to you and at first you cannot hear me. You are only aware of the wind and the things that are going on in your life.
You only see the effects of your circumstances and responsibility. However, if you stop for just a moment to hone in on my voice, you will see that I am speaking in the wind. I am showing you things and explaining new mysteries to you through your circumstances.
So stop and listen for a moment. See what I am doing and acknowledge that I am in control even of the things that do not make sense to you. For the wind will go where it wills and no man can control it. In the same way, your circumstances are often like that wind that goes in its own direction.
So instead of fighting it, listen to my voice in it and find your peace there. Then when you hear my voice and see what I am doing, the wind will finally die down and you will be able to make sense of it all.
My peace and my voice is in the wind. Stop and listen, for I am indeed speaking to you and leading you through it, says the Lord.
