Wait for the Rain

When you have toiled, sweat, and worked tirelessly to sow good seed into the soil, know that you have done all that you can do, and that the next step is up to Me. Trust in the work that you have put in, and do not worry or be concerned if you do not see results right away. For I know when your field needs water or sun, and how much time each seed needs to grow.

So when you have done all that you can do, know that we are working together to see a plentiful harvest. Know that all your work is not in vain, but rest in knowing that the rain will come, the sun will shine, and that you will see the fruit of your labor in good time.

So rejoice my child, for your part is over, and let Me do what only I can do to bless and prosper the work of your hands, says the Lord.

Let Me Hold You

As a mother takes her child on her lap and comforts them after they have fallen and hit their knee, I want to do the same for you, my child. You have learned to brush off the scratches that you have gotten here and there, and you have kept running nevertheless.

However, you have not realized though how tired and worn down you have become. You need a time of just resting in Me. So, come to Me, my child. You have fought hard, and you have been running for a long time.Ê

Let Me take you on my lap, comfort you and wash away all the blood. Let Me put my healing balm on the wounds that you collected in the middle of battle. Let Me wash you clean again and give you the strength that you need to embark on your next battle again.

Do not run wounded into it, but come to Me first, and let Me hold you. Let Me care for you and give you what you need so that you are refreshed and full of joy to go out once again to take this land for Me once more.

Family Ties

Family Ties

Heading into their second winter since fleeing their homes, displaced children at a church-administered tent camp in Erbil, Iraq look after each other as best they can. They have gone nearly two years without schooling, and chances of resuming classes soon are thin as Iraqi, Kurdish and U.S. coalition forces fight to retake territory from the Islamic State and its terrorist militants. Displaced children need diapers, baby formula, blankets and heaters, among other items, and a ministry based in northern Iraq’s autonomous region of Kurdistan is helping to provide them as funds are available. “You see tents in the streets, you see neglected buildings or buildings that are still under construction, and that’s where they live,” the ministry director said. “They just cover up with plastic or blankets, and they live there. So we try to show the love of Christ as much as we can by providing help for them, but as much as we can we also speak about Jesus Christ.”

I Created You to Love Me

My child, I have created you with one plan in mind, and that is to love Me. When life gets hectic, and things get busy, you sometimes forget this very powerful and simple truth.

I created you because of love, for love, and with love. The foundation of everything I do, is love. So come back into my strong arms today, and pick up my love. Then stand set apart in its power, and transform the world around you.

My love never fails. My love is stronger than any attack of the enemy and it is stronger than any circumstance you might be facing.

Feel and understand that love today. I know you will rise up and stand as the mighty warrior I have called you to be.

All I desire is to love you, and have you love Me back. Together with that love, we will transform this world, says the Lord.Ê

I am Your Fuel

My child, look at how a car is made. No matter how strong the engine is, and how powerful it can accelerate, it still does not stand on its own. It relies on the gas in its tank.
So it is with you. My love and my power is your fuel, and when you do not fill up, you will find yourself wanting. Do not wait until you are completely empty, child. But look at the gauge and know when you are coming to an end.
You have a meter and when you read that meter, it will be clear when you need to find Me. My love will give you the passion, power, and everything you need to accomplish every task.
I will fill every void in your heart and adorn you with praise. I will remind you of the truth and give you the wisdom that you need. I will be the fuel in your tank that will propel you on the road that you are on.

So do not wait until you are completely empty child, but stop to find rest in Me. Let me fill you up and send you on your way. I will take away what wearies you, and lift the burdens that are heavy from off of you. I will fuel you for the road ahead. Amen.

You Are Beautiful

When a child is born, it is covered in blood and water. It is a messy affair, but know that as soon as a mother hears her baby's first cry, she sheds tears of joy to see and her child for the very first time. So it is with you, My child.Ê

You never have to come to Me all clean, perfect and righteous. That is not possible. When you are covered in the stench of flesh and iniquity, I do not see the dirt and grime. The blood of my Son cleanses you. What I see is the apple of my eye, and the love of my heart. I long to draw you close in my embrace and soothe every hurt, dry every tear and to give you the strength that you need.

Because you are mine, you are beautiful to Me. Do not let the world, or anyone else convince you otherwise. So turn your eyes to Me, and know that in Me that you are loved and accepted. Be confident in who you are and see yourself through my eyes, my child!

I Can Do What you Cannot Do

Even when you cannot see what lies ahead of you, you do not have to fear. I am always with you and I will never leave you nor forsake you. You can trust in Me and know that I am working all things for your good. So lift up your eyes, no matter what is going on around you. When you gaze upon Me and praise Me, you will look to Me and gain all the hope that you need. For even when it looks hopeless in the natural, all things are possible through Me.

What you cannot do, I can do easily, my child. So let your burdens down and do not worry, but lift up your eyes and begin to praise Me. Look upon Me and see how capable I am, then you will see your problems melt before youÉ you will see the mountains in your life, melt before my presence. You will see that I have had you in my palms all along, child. Amen.

Your Next Move

As a good chess player knows already in advance which moves he wants to make, so do I know which moves you should make. I know what you will need. I know where you lack, and I know where you thrive.Ê

When you embark on your journey today, do not rely on your own understanding or try to find wisdom your way. Come to Me my child and let me give you divine wisdom and understanding. I know what you need today, and I know what you will need tomorrow. So, come and receive it from Me, my child.Ê

I have good plans in store for you and I am not hiding them from you. I am not withholding wisdom from you, and I will not let you suffer by not giving you what you so desperately desire. All you need to do is come to Me so that I can give it to you. Let me give you what you need and then make your next move together with Me.

I am Your Foundation

If you build your house on the sand, then when the wind comes and the rain starts, it will indeed be swept away easily. When you run towards the beach, at first glance, it all looks so beautiful. You feel like you could stay there forever. However, you cannot build your house upon that beach. You cannot live there.

My child, build your house upon solid rock. Allow your relationship with Me to be the foundation of all you do. Allow my love to penetrate you, and allow my Word to sink deep inside of your heart. For when you have that, no matter what kind of storm approaches, you will stand strong.Ê

DonÕt run around trying to get a quick fix, but rather take the time to invest into coming closer to me. Rather invest your time in our relationship and in understanding who I am, says the Lord. For when you do that, you will have such a solid house.Ê

Come away with Me even now. Start building the foundation you have been searching for. Start on this journey and become secure in who you are in Me, says the Lord.

Wisdom in My Presence

My child, I speak to you every day. In everything you face, I have a direction and an answer for you. I have wisdom for you in every problem that you face.
If you come to Me every day afresh, and present everything you are going through to Me, I will give you clear wisdom on what to do with each task.
If you listen intently to my voice, you will know what to do and when to do it. So instead of allowing the problems in your life to create frustration in your heart, present each one to Me afresh today, and I will give you wisdom and instruction as to how to move forward.
I love you and I have a new plan for you each day. I know what you need before you ask. I know where you need to go before you go. So just seek Me afresh today my child, and your journey will be filled with joy and wisdom, says the Lord.

Your Small Seed

My child, don't ever think of yourself as little and insignificant. Don't ever think that because you may not be well-studied or highly skilled that you can't make a difference in people's lives.
My child, you have Me inside of you, and therefore you have everything you need. With Me, you can climb mountains. With Me you can overcome anything. With Me you can make a difference.
So take the seed I have given you. Spread the faith, hope, and love that I have placed in your heart, and start seeing change take place.
The change you so desperately desire in your life and the lives of those around you, will come as you start pouring out even in the seemingly little things you have.Ê
Stand in faith, and plant that seed. As you do, you will watch a mighty tree grow that will bring joy and rest to many, says the Lord.

A Bright Future

I have gone ahead of you child, and prepared the way. I have made plans for you that are greater than you can dream of on your own. So do not look back at what used to be, or what could have been, but just as a sojourner goes forth and looks at the road before him, so keep your eyes straight ahead.

Let your hope be inspired by the future, child. If you could just see what I see, you would see how the stars light up so brightly up ahead. You would see the many gifts that I have prepared for you.

You would see a banquet of your favorite foods. You would see the deepest desires of your heart, wrapped in gifts of all colors of all shapes and sizes. You would be surrounded by those you love and those that love you... and many that you have yet to meet.

My child, there is no fear of the future. I have gone ahead and prepared a place for you. So look up ahead and move forward with anticipation and excitement. Tomorrow is bright place with many gifts that await you! And on the way there, you will discover many treasures. Amen.

Rest in My Arms

My child, when you have done all that you can do, and it still seems like it is not enough, that is because you are running in your own strength. The dreams and the passions I have given you is to inspire you, however, you were never meant to carry that load and do the work all by yourself.
Like a hand that requires all of its fingers to properly function, I have put people around you to work with you, and together will you fulfil the vision and the call that I have given each and every one.
So look up from your tasks and your worries, and know that you do not walk this path alone, Each one has their place. When you find your place, the place that I have specifically made for you, you will see that you are part of a much larger plan. You will see that you are part of a body, of a tribe, and of a family.
So open your eyes my child, and see my hand working with you and through people I have put around you. Rest in knowing that it is not about what you do, but the heart in which you do things with. Trust in my plans for you and rest in the place that I have set your feet and enjoy the journey that we walk together.

Jump Into the Water

There are times for you to be cautious, count every cost, and weigh each decision, but there are also other times that I will tell you to run forward with abandon and just go!
Remember that I know the road ahead of you, and I have arranged your circumstances in time for a specific reason. Sometimes you need to wait, or to rest and tarry for a while, and sometimes a door of opportunity has been arranged for you to be open just long enough for you to run as fast as you can and just make it through.
This road that you are walking with Me is an adventure, so do not be dismayed when events in your life are unexpected and you end up walking in places that you did not expect. Each place that I lead you to has challenges and blessings for you to embrace and take in, so do not be afraid!
Know that I have every aspect of your journey planned out for you. So when I tell you to jump, and you see that deep pool of water before you, take a chance run and jump in with expectation and joy!

Look With My Eyes

My child, you may see the great achievements of others and feel like you are not accomplishing much, but take a moment to look into my eyes and see what I value. It is not about what you do for Me, but the heart in which you do it.
If with every action, job, or task that you perform is done unto Me, and you do it with a heart that is pouring out faith, hope and love, know I am pleased and that you have accomplished much. Do not forget that when a little boy offered up his humble lunch of bread and fish, I made it feed a multitude.
So rejoice in and do what I have asked you to doÉto allow yourself to be loved by Me, and to pour out the love you have received with others. From there, I will take everything you do and anoint it with My presence and power. Know that with Me, what you do will have eternal value. Keep pouring out the love that I have given you to share with the world. Always remember not to view what you do with the worldÕs eyes, but with with mine!

Open the Curtains

Like a curtain blocks out the light, so do your sins hinder my light from shining through you. They build a curtain and a veil between you and me. As easy as it is though to open the curtains so that the light of the day can shine into your room, it is the same with your sins.

I gave you a solution for your sins already two thousand years ago. Stop making it so complicated. Stop seeing your sins as this big mountain that you cannot overcome. Stop worrying about them and condemning yourself because you failed again.

I know your heart, and I know that you will fail time and time again. This is why I sent my son so that He can make a way for you. Take hold of His victory today. Take hold of the promise that you find in the finished work of Calvary.

Come to me, repent and let me wash you clean once again. This is all that you need to do. Open the curtains today and remove every veil that stands between you and me.

Do Not Give Up

My child, today I want you to know that you don't have to give up. I love you and I have a clear plan for you. Although the journey might seem long and arduous, and sometimes you don't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel, don't give up.

Persevere just a little while longer and hang onto me with faith, hope, and love, says the Lord. I love you my child, and I will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Me and run with all that is within you, says the Lord.

You Are My Champion

My child, the same spirit that rose me from the dead, lives inside of you. If you abide in me and my words abide in you, there is nothing you cannot do for me. My child, as you take my hand and walk this road with me, and place your full trust in who I am, there truly is nothing for you to be afraid of, or for you to think that you cannot do.

You are my champion. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. I have made you in my image, and so as you take on more and more of my nature and my spirit, you will indeed go out there and change the world in my name.

You will do so for me, because of me and in me. Realize that you don’t have to even listen to the lies of the enemy that tell you that you can’t do something. In me you can do anything. In me you can overcome. In me you are a victor.

So rise up today and realize that you can overcome. No matter what your circumstance or difficulty might be, call those things into line, as you listen to my voice and my instructions and boldly stand in who you are in me, says the Lord.

Never-ending Love

My love for you is so deep my child. I created you to love you. There is no height or depth that could ever separate you from my love. Even though at times you feel like things are coming at you that make you feel distant from me, realize that there is truly nothing that will ever change my heart towards you says the Lord.

I have made you because I wanted to love on you and fellowship with you. So don’t ever think that there is anything you could do that would change my heart or love for you. Nothing will ever change that. You might feel miles away, and yes there might be things that are condemning your own heart. But child, I am always right here, ready to receive you.

I have paid the price so that you could live. I paid the price so that we could fellowship all the time. So no matter what it is that you are going through right now, my child, I extend my arms of love to you, to receive you and restore you.

I am ready to go deeper and reveal my love to you more. The first step you need to take is to realize that my love for you is never ending. I will never change. I love you passionately. I loved you before you were even created and I will never change my heart for you.

You are my precious child over whom I am very protective, and jealous. So, run into my strong arms and receive the direction and the love you have been searching for, says the Lord. I love you my child. I love you!

Listen to My Voice

Every child grows to know so well the voice of their mother, and even in a room of loud noise and commotion, it is easy for a child to recognize and hear that voice, calling their name.

My child, you belong to Me and I desire the same of you. A child gets to know the voice of their mother by spending much time close to her and attuning their ear for every word that comes from her mouth.

So let yourself be that child with Me. Like a mother, I long to hold you close and speak words to strengthen, to encourage and to give you hope and direction. I desire to speak of how precious you are to Me and of how much I love you and care for you.

My child, come close so that we can spend this time together. Stay close to Me so that you can be so familiar with the sound of my voice and the words that I speak so when the voice of the enemy comes to confuse and deceive you, you will know without a shadow of a doubt what is true and what is false.

So come to Me my child, and spend some times in my arms. Let my voice be the only one you hear and let me fill you to overflowing with what you need to conquer the world before you. Amen.
