Get Off the Carouse Wheel

Just like the carouse wheel goes round and round, so also do you often find yourself going around and not understanding where you are meant to be says the Lord. You see the same problems again and again. You face the same failures and see the same scenery. All the while you are wondering where I am and where I will lead you next.

First I need to stop the turning my child and bring you to a place of peace. Only then will you see clear enough to take my hand so that I can lead you further. For the enemy has had you caught in a snare that he has controlled. He has bound you up with fears and struggles in your heart so that you continue to go in circles instead of seeing the straight and clear path that I have for you.

So take my hand now and step off the carouse wheel. Come and stand firmly and wait for me to give you direction. For when you try to run ahead or start to walk before I have given you the full picture, you will find yourself going in circles again. So trust in me and wait. Let me lead you. Even if things do not make sense or you cannot see what is ahead – wait! Wait for me to pick you up. Wait for me to lead you and open the doors for you. Just wait on me. When you wait on me, I will not lead you astray.

I will not cause you to go in circles again, but for the first time you will head towards your destination. So wait for my words. Wait for my confirmation and you will see that I have a clear road mapped out ahead of you. The time has come to move forward my child. To make progress and to succeed in the things I have promised you says the Lord. Amen

Let Me Position You

 

Let Me Position You

Consider how the clouds float carelessly above the ground. They are driven only by the winds that carry them. They float over land and sea with no seeming purpose until suddenly they are moved to action and surrender their downpour to the earth below them.

In the same way, allow me to control your life my child. Allow me to be the wind that carries you here and there. At times it will feel as if you are drifting and not knowing where you should go. However if you surrender your life to me, I can move you to the place that I need you to be.

However, if you try to dictate your own direction, you will find yourself stuck and unable to fulfill your purpose as I intended. Instead let me be your wind. Let me be your direction. Let me move you to the right place so that when the time is right, you can release your full potential on the earth just as I ordained it.

For just like the clouds, you are full of my precious water and you have my life inside of you! You have much to offer this world and you are indeed my precious gift to this world. To release this gift of life though, you need to be in the right place. So let me position you. Give up any control and surrender everything to me. 

Then although you might feel as though you are drifting, you can rest assured that I am the one leading you and you can look forward to the outpouring of my spirit that is soon to come says The Lord. Amen.

Your Secret Place in the Ark

 

Your Secret Place in the Ark

In my presence you will find everything you need to be satisfied my child. It is here that you will find a deep peace that passes all understanding. It is here that you will find the noise of the storm around you suddenly quiet until you can only see its effects around you, but realize that the effects cannot touch you.

For when you are with me, I hide you much like the manna was put in the ark of the Covenant. Here it did not waste away. It was hidden in this secret place and so it was kept fresh and did not become exposed to the elements that would cause it to go rotten.

In the same way as you remain hidden in my hand, it is like being tucked away into the Ark of my Covenant. You are hidden away for that moment from the struggles and the storms in the world. You are hidden away from the fears and the striving and all that remains is my sweet presence.

So run to this quiet place and come receive the peace that passes all understanding. Here you will be renewed. You will experience the absence of fear and doubt - you will hear only the stillness of my voice. So come and know that I will always have this secret place for you says The Lord.

A Gentle Whisper

 

A Gentle Whisper

My child, hear my gentle voice calling you to come into my presence. Stop for a moment and listen to the gentle whisper in the air. The noise around you is so much and it is so loud. 

You get distracted and listen to everything else. You run for the one that shouts the loudest and you give attention to the one that cries with the most desperation. But my child, the one you need to listen to most, is my gentle voice.

I want to pour my love into you and give you wisdom for what you are facing. I want to show you my way, but for you to hear me and see me, you must stop in your tracks and turn your face to me.

Stop running, stop trying and striving and just look at me. I don't need you to say anything but I just need you to look at me. I need you to come and follow the gentle whisper in the air so that I can fill your ears with sweet words and fill your heart with tender love.

You are precious to me. Come my beloved. Run away with me and let me show you the secret place that I have created just for you and me. Come now my child, come, says the Lord.

I Desire Your Imperfection

 

I Desire Your Imperfection

Your heart is so precious to me my child. It is in your imperfection that I am made perfect. Stop trying to come to me clean. Stop trying to get everything under control before you run into my arms.

I am not like your earthly father who might have wanted you to be perfect before you came to him. In fact, I delight when you come with your heart wide open and show me everything regardless of how bad it might seem.

I just crave your heart. I want your reality so that I can add mine on top of it. I want your weakness so that I can fill it with my strength. I want your inability so I can fill it with my ability. 

It is only when you come to me with all of that,  that you can run in my power. It is only when you really give me your heart with all that is in it, that you will shine with my glory and reflect to the world who I really am.

So my child, know that I need your imperfection to make my perfection known to the world. Come to me as you are and let us change the world together my beloved. Amen.

If you are not a mother (I’m looking at all you men, and all you young women), here is a test you can take to see if you could be a mother.
As for all you mother’s, thank you, thank you, thank you for being such great mothers, and somehow, getting through the tough years of being a mother.

THE WIND BENEATH YOUR WINGS

The Wind Beneath Your Wings

Consider the sparrow my child that is so small, if you compare it to the mighty eagle. Yet it has the same potential to travel many miles with its tiny wings. The ability the sparrow has to travel so far does not lie in its wingspan, but in its ability to catch the wind.

For when it catches the current, it can soar to great heights and fly high above the earth. In the same way my child it does not matter how great your faith and love is. It matters that you surrender to me so that I can be the wind beneath your wings. Give to me your small portion of faith and love and I will breath on it and make it grow.

Did I not say that all you needed was a mustard seed of faith to move mountains? It is not the seed that would move the mountains, but surrendering the seed to me that will increase it! It is when you surrender to me the little bit you have that I can increase it. Only then will you see that you can do great things in my name. It is not your portion of faith that will carry you, but surrendering that portion of faith to me that will make the difference.

So come to me as that little sparrow and give me what you have. You might not feel as strong as an eagle and you might not feel that you can fly very high right now, but give me what you have child. I will take it and breath on it and cause the currents to carry you far into the sky so that you can see everything from above. I will cause your faith to soar and your love to be increased. Then you will know that I am God and that it is in me to lift you up or to humble you. You will see that it is in me to increase my love in your life and to increase your faith.

Trust me child. Surrender to my wind and then you shall surely begin to soar, says the Lord. Amen.
