Take Me Along

You do not need to go far to feel my presence my child. I am not hidden from you, but right within arms reach. When you are sad, I am standing right by your side. When you rejoice, then I am dancing at your side. Everything you face through the day, I am right there, facing it with you.

So take me along on your adventures as you walk through the day - knowing that I am right there with you. I am there to give you comfort and I am there to give you strength. When you face difficult situations, I am there to give you power. When you are facing temptations and you feel weak, I am there to make you strong.

So rely heavily on me. Lean on me. Reach out for me and you will find that I have been there all along. My child, you do not need to struggle to find me, so do not search any longer. When you finally come to rest, you will realize that I was there all along, chasing after you.

So take me along with you today. Talk to me and share your conflicts with me through the day. Tell me your temptations and your fears. Then as you share, you will feel a deep peace in your heart.

You will see my hand move on your circumstances. Talk to me just as if I was sitting right next to you. As you do that, you will touch me and my power will touch you in return, says the Lord. Amen.

Follow My Breeze

Follow my breeze

Even as a gust of wind throws a leaf around and changes its direction all of the time, so does my spirit blow upon you as well. When you walk with me and tap into the power of your spirit then the direction I am taking you in can change with the wind. My child, I just want you to come to me and be open.

As you walk in the spirit, be sensitive to my voice and listen to my direction. For even as a leaf can be tossed from east to west in just one gust, so can I change your direction. I love you and I am not bringing that change because I want to toss you around and harm you but because I love you. I am blowing my wind because I know what is best for you.

So come to me afresh and trust in me. Let me blow upon you and point you in the direction you need to go today. I have wonderful things in store for you. As you listen to my still small voice inside of you, you will be able to rise up and follow my gentle leading, says the Lord.

YOU ARE MY ARROW

You are my arrow

I want to make you into an arrow that will hit its mark 100 percent of the time. I am the archer and you are my arrow. Let me sharpen your tip and make you straight.

For the plans I have for you are bigger than your own. The places I want to send you to are beyond your imagination. Before I can shoot you into the dark to hit the enemy's camp though, you need to come to me and receive all that you can.

If you have been feeling a lot of pressure and change has been staring you in the face everywhere you go and with everything you do, then rejoiced for I am making you into my arrow. I am not just making you into any arrow though.

I am forming you to become my sharpest one yet. So just trust in me and let me do what only I can do, says the Lord.

Your Destination

Your Destination

When you are walking on a road you do not consider who built it, but only the destination you are heading for. In the same way my child, it is time to look ahead in the spirit to the destination that I have put ahead of you.

Far too often you look at the road that you have been put on and you start to question it. You wonder who made it and where it is leading you to. You wonder why you have to walk it and you wonder how you should walk it.

You sit and wonder so much that you stand still and forget to do the one thing that I asked you to do my child...to simply walk the road that I have put in front of you. So put your trust in me this day and trust me to put you on the right roads.

Trust me to open the doors that you cannot. Trust that I have your welfare in my hand and that I have destined you for blessing and not for evil.

Does it matter which road you walk? Would it change your destination if you knew why you had to go this way? When I sent the Children of Israel to the Promised Land, did it matter that they had to go through the wilderness? No child, all that mattered was the destination.

So look up and set your sights on what is ahead once again. Look at the blessing that I have in store for you. Look at the Promised Land that I have for you. Look at your destination and when you do that, you will suddenly find the strength to walk once again.

Your mind will become clear once again and you will start to overcome. Look up and step out again, leaving the old land behind you and will see soon enough that I have good and pleasant things ahead of you, says the Lord.

Make a List

Make a List

There is a time for work and there is also a time for joy and today I call you to a time of joy my child. I call you to enjoy my presence and to revel in the good things that I have done in your life. For often you look at the work that needs to be done and the new goals that you have that you can forget how far you have come.

You see the things that must still change in your heart that you forget to see what I have already accomplished. So take time today to enjoy the good things I have done. Look at your life and list all the changes I have made.

Consider the things that I have healed you of and the situations that I have brought you out of. As you do this, you will feel my joy start to bubble out of your spirit once again.

You will start to feel refreshed and full of life again. Only then will you be ready to step out and pour that life out to others as well. So revel in my goodness this day child. Rejoice and share with everyone the good things that I have done. Fill your mind and your mouth with praise for what I have done and soon the dark clouds will be gone.

Soon the work ahead will seem a lot easier. For it is my joy that will get you through. My joy has a power and it will give you the strength that you need in any situation.

So look to me and rejoice. Praise me and enjoy my presence. Then you will get the strength you need to push on and to take the load up once again, says the Lord.

Come to The Mountain

Come to The Mountain

As Moses came to me at the top of the mountain the people trembled, says the Lord. They did not understand why he went this way and they did not understand the greatness of my presence. They did not understand the full work that I wanted to do. Yet this did not discourage Moses from climbing the mountain into my presence.

In the same way my child not everyone will understand the way that you are walking or know what I am doing in your life. Just as Moses had a private time with me, so also am I calling you to a private time.

For it is only here, on top of the mountain that I can speak to you face to face. It is only here that I can bring the changes that you have asked me for, so many times now.

So do not be afraid and come to me. Do not be afraid because of what others say. Do not listen to their doubts and also do not be discouraged if they do not understand. For the work that I shall do in your heart will be done in private where no one else can see.

It is only in this secret place that I can accomplish all the things that I said I would do in your life. So put aside the doubts and come into my presence. Follow the direction I have given to you. Hold on to the promises that I have given to you.

Then when you do this, I will lift you high and when the time is over, your face will reflect my glory just as Moses' did. Then once the process is over, only then will everyone be able to see the wonderful things that I have done.

For now though they cannot see and they do not understand. Do not expect them to and do not let them hinder you. Instead come to me now child and soon, in my presence, everything will be made clear, says the Lord. Amen.

Cling to Me

Cling to Me

No matter how thick the storm clouds seem to gather, know that my power is greater than any storm. For just as my disciples felt tossed around in the boat, it took only a single word from Me to bring peace to the situation.

In the same way look to Me this day my child. Though the clouds may gather and though you may feel darkness around you, my power is greater than all of these things.

So give me your hand today and let me guide you when it is dark. Then let me bring peace when there is a storm. Let me show you the way through the storm so that you can overcome.

For I have not forsaken you and when the night is at its darkest or when the storm is at its fiercest, it is then that I am with you the most. Because you feel the storm more than my presence, does not mean that I have left you.

When your emotions are in turmoil and you cannot see your way, it does not mean I have left you. No, instead I have taken you by the hand and I am guiding you my child. So trust in me.

Rest in me and know that I am greater than any storm. I am stronger than any wind and brighter than any dark night. Cling to me and you will soon see the daybreak and the peace that you have been seeking me for, says the Lord.

Let me clean your house

Let me clean your house

When you clean your house, you go through several different stages of cleaning. It will shine and look beautiful and clean for a few days but then you have to do it all over again.

It is the same in your walk with me my child. You need to continually come to me and receive my cleansing so that the dust and dirt doesn't accumulate and wear you down.

You need a touch of my power every single day. You need to come to me and receive my cleansing and refreshment all the time. I do not want you to run around and be dirty and filthy.

I have more for you than what you have had up until now. I want to clean you and refresh you every day so that you are ready to face what you need to face.

I love you dearly my child. Come to me now and let me sweep up inside of you. Let me touch those crevices that always accumulate dirt and let me refresh you with my living waters, says the Lord.

Step into me

Step into me

Just as an army of soldiers move in unison and cause the ground to shake, so have I called you to walk in unison with me. When you step into me and walk as I walk, the enemy trembles.

He doesn't just see you but he sees a whole army of warriors. As you step into me, you are stepping into my strength and you are clothed with the victory I won for you two thousand years ago. When he sees that, he runs in defeat.

Do not try to run on your own accord and do not try to be strong in yourself, says the Lord. For as you go into battle by yourself, clothed with nothing but a little sword, the enemy will laugh and take you down in a heartbeat. But as you take on what I have given you and as you walk as me, you will be strong and victorious.

When the heat of the battle is on and the enemy seems to hide in every corner of your life, it is tempting to just pick up whatever weapon you can find and rush out to chase him away. It is in those times though my child that I call you to come and hide in my presence.

It is in those times when the warfare seems intense and it seems as though the enemy is gaining much ground that you find the greatest weapons by simply resting in my presence.

As you come to me and find refuge in my strong arms I am equipping you. You may not feel anything or you may not even realize it but as you hide in my presence I am clothing you in my glory and arming you in my armor of power.

When you step out of my presence to face the enemy once again, you are going in my power and then it is as I said to you earlier, the enemy will not see little you, he will feel as though a whole army is coming against him.

He will see me and he will see my name branded on your shield. The only thing he feels like doing when he sees that is run. So hide in my presence and let me equip you with my weapons of warfare, says the Lord.

Just one ray of sunlight

Just one ray of sunlight

Just as a ray of sunlight can cast away the darkness of the night, so does my love for you wipe away the works of the enemy. My child let my sun shine afresh in your life. You have gotten so bogged down with the cares of life. The challenges around you have made you weary.

Instead of continuing your walk in the night, just walk towards the sun. As soon as even just a bit of lights hits your face, the warmth of my presence will fill you up. The light of my glory will show you the way ahead. The strength of my power will give you what you need to press on forward on this road.

Just allow me to shine in your life afresh, says the Lord. Circumstances can be overwhelming and the tests the enemy continually sets can be heavy. Do not look at the darkness of the night though but rather put your eyes on the light that comes when the sun rises. As you look at that, all the heaviness is washed away.

I love you dearly my child. Fix your eyes on me. Put your gaze on my glory and allow my love to pull you out of the darkness, says the Lord.
