I am Holding you Tightly

Even as the storm is raging all around you my child, and the winds are strong, know that I am holding you tightly in my arms. When you are in me, nothing can push you over. No storm can overwhelm you and no wind will be able to destroy you.
So as the winds blow around your face and rage wildly, stand in the eye of the storm. Know that I am holding you. Rest assured that you are not out there by yourself and that you don't have to find a skill or an ability to withstand this.
I have got you covered and no matter what is happening in your life right now, it won't overcome you. You are in me and I am covering you, says the Lord. So be encouraged and press on forward. Know that there is nothing the enemy or anyone can do to pull you out of my hand, for I am holding and protecting you.
Just know that you simply need to press on forward and the winds will not harm you. They will subside and go away. Just trust in me, says the Lord.

Do not get Distracted

As you have been traveling on this road my child, you have encountered many challenges. You have gotten used to the challenges, but you have put your focus more on the stumbling blocks than you have put on me.
You have been trying to pick up every last little pebble on your path so that the road can be smooth and easy to walk on. My child, laying down a clear and smooth road for you is my job. Sure, I have given you the authority to come against any blockage in the way and you are more than a conqueror in me, but be sure to set your eyes on me and my power.
I will blast all those little irritations out of your way and I will deal with the big blockages as well. Do this in my strength and hold onto my hand. Sit in my presence and seek my face before you just run and take care of all these things in your own strength.
For as you try to do that, you will miss the blessings I have for you as you walk this road. You will miss the view along this journey and not notice when I am calling you to the side to have a moment to enjoy my presence or receive fresh direction.
So, don't be set on your own path and your own plans, but be set firmly in me and my presence. Fix your eyes on me and run this race with much joy, says the Lord.

Just a Little Taste

Just a Little Taste

Come taste and see that I am good says the Lord. For just like fruit delights the senses when it is ripe and full, so also is my presence a delight to your spirit. Just like you eat fruit and sweet things to delight your senses, so also is my presence a place of delight and joy.
My child you do not need to feel obligated to come into my presence. It is not a chore or something that you should feel guilty about. Rather coming into my presence is like sneaking something delicious to eat. It is a time of reveling in something good and delightful. For my presence is delightful my child! There is no obligation or judgement there. For I did not come to judge you, but to save you! I came to give you life abundantly. I came to give you good news and precious things.
I came to draw you closer to myself. So come and see that in my presence is every good thing! When you are in my arms, you will taste good fruit and your spirit will be renewed. You will receive strength again. Just like honey brightens your eyes, one taste of my presence will brighten your life. Chores that seem so hard will become easy. Situations that feel so difficult will suddenly become simple to manage. One taste of my presence will change everything. So taste and see that I am good and be refreshed today says the Lord. Amen.

Catch the Wind

There is no man that can control the wind my child. However there are many ways that man has learned to harness it. In the same way there is no way that any man can control me. You cannot control how I will move and how I want to move. You cannot control when I will answer your prayer and you cannot control my will. Just like the wind, I blow where I please and I refresh where I please.
However just as man can harness the wind, so also can you come in line with my will and harness the power available to you. You do not need to try and push me to answer your prayers, but instead you can let me pick you up and carry you away. You can allow me to move you where you need to go and cause you to be moved to a new place.
So stop fighting my child. Stop struggling and surrender to my will. Allow me to pick you up and to carry you. Surrender your will to my will and you will find that I have the perfect plan for you. I have the perfect picture and promise waiting for you. You cannot reach that promise on your own – you need my wind to carry you there!
So harness the power of my wind by submitting to my will. For it is when you submit to my will that you will see things happen in your life. Be mindful of the directions I give to you and be vigilant to follow my instruction. Then you will find my wind at your back and my promises at your face says the Lord. Amen.
