A New Paved Road
As a traveler sets his eyes
towards the goal so it is also time for you to look ahead and not behind
my child. For you cannot experience new things or reach your
destination if you are always looking back. So do not look back any
longer at the roads that you have traveled or at the experiences of the
past, but look to the future instead.
See the good plans that I have
for you. See the new goals that are ahead. See the promises and the new
adventures that wait for you. You cannot continue to move forward by
living off the experiences of the past. You cannot gain new ground, by
always looking back at the ground you took before. You also will not
experience new things, if all you ever look at are the problems and
failures of the past.
So whether you accomplished good
things or experienced failure, leave the past roads behind you my
child and look forward to something new. For I have paved a new road for
you to walk. I have given you a new journey to go on and as you
embrace it the past will fall away, leaving a bright future for you to
take hold of. So look forward now with expectation and see that a new
road and blessing waits for you says the Lord. Amen.
