Do Not Despise The Wilderness
For indeed says the Lord, I am
opening up the way for you to get to your Promised Land. Perhaps it is
not what you expected. Perhaps you thought the way would be easier, but
my child, it is not just in gaining the Promised Land that matters,
but the treasure is also in the journey of getting there. Just as the
wilderness wrought and made the Israelites into warriors, so the
wilderness will be to you.
There is where they learned how
to have faith in Me – where they saw my miracles and knew my power. In
the wilderness is where I trained their hands for battle and their
fingers for war. In the wilderness is where they were made into
conquerors.
It is here that Moses taught
them how to fight. It was in the wilderness and in the trying times
that they were transformed and made into kings. It is here where the
slaves died and the few that were gold, remained. So too will the slave
in you die and the king come out to the forefront.
Unless they gained the skills
and knowledge that they did in the wilderness, they would not have what
it took, to take the Promised Land and keep it.
So then, you too, must embrace
this journey and let it make you become what you need to be. For then,
when you reach that land, you will know what to do with it. You would
have become a vessel that could handle the responsibilities that came
with it.
So do not despise the wilderness and the journey that I am taking you
on, but see it as the blessing that it is. Because here is how you will
get to the Promised Land and indeed you will see it, says the Lord.
