When you run a race, sometimes it feels that right before the finish line you just cannot push any further. This is why racers go through the training and exercise necessary to make sure that they are able to complete the race that lies ahead of them.
So it is with you, my child. There is a race that I have called you to run and a task that I have laid out before you to complete. Yet, before you are able to complete it, you need to go through the training necessary to accomplish this task.
If you are feeling the fire in your life, if you feel that you just cannot push on one more day, remember that I am right here beside you. I am in the fire with you. I will not let you be overtaken by the wind or the waves of the sea that are before you.
Know that I am using these situations in your life to equip you for the race that lies ahead of you. I am strengthening your spiritual muscles to be able to stand strong against the enemy, to persevere, and to overcome him, just as I did, says the Lord.
