Do not be Distracted
My child, be aware of the distractions in your life. I am calling you to look to me and to focus on the important things I have put before you, says the Lord. Right now you are like a chef that has put food on the stove to cook. Then he walked away and gave all of his time and attention to the salad he was preparing and forgot that the salad didn't need to be cooked but merely put together.
In the mean time what was on the stove has burnt and needs to be started all over again. My child, be aware of those little distractions in your lfe, says the Lord. At times there are those little things that are like that salad and you are trying to run around and make it things perfect that you forget that there was something bigger at stake that really needed your attention and your focus.
The little things will sort themselves out but be sure to keep your focus on me, says the Lord. Come to me and allow me to show you to see as I see. The things that you deem important and big, may not end up being so big and important after all. Just look to me and let me take charge. Put aside your own desires and your own ideas so that I can show you what I desire of you right now, says the Lord.
I want to give you peace and I want to overwhelm you with my love. I have plans of hope and of a great future for you, says the Lord. However, for as long as you run after those little things you will not see the blessing I have put right in front of your eyes.
So come to me afresh right now and allow me to lead and guide you, says the Lord. Let's cook a tasty meal together and complement it with the salad, but let's not make it about that, shall we?
