Meant for More
Do not be afraid, my child, to come to Me, no matter what you have done, no matter what has happened. There is nothing that can change how I see you, what I think of you, or how much I love you. You see, when a child plays outside, he will get dirty. Yet, a loving mother will not see the dirt, but only that the child needs a bath and then the child will be clean again.
My child, come to me and let my presence clean and refresh you. There is nothing you can do to earn my love, nor lose it. Just come to me and let me wash you and clothe you in clean garments. You may not recognize how you will look in your new clothes, but by shedding your old ones, you will come to see that the ones I give you will truly reflect who I see you to be.
So come to Me and let me dry the tears from your eyes, soothe your hurts, and assuage your fears. My arms are always open to receive you! Let my love transform you so that you can finally see yourself as I see you, says the Lord.
