Does there need to be a reason for you to sit with me today child? No, there does not have to be a reason to just come and enjoy my presence. For so many of my children think that spending time with me is about just praying or studying my Word, however the greatest joy to me is to develop a relationship with you.

I want to tell you my secrets. I want to show you hidden things. I want to lead you to treasure and wonders that are beyond your imagination. I want to delight your heart and express to you the person that I am. So come to me with an open heart. Come ready to develop a relationship with me and I will speak to you plainly. For when I walked the earth my disciples followed and were obedient. However before I ascended I told them that things would change. From that time they would be my friends. They would not just be disciples. That it was time to come closer.

In the same way, come closer to me. Come close and let me whisper delights into your ear. Do not come to just please me or to perform for me. No, rather come to just get to know me. Get to know me as a person and as someone real that cares for every need you have. Realize that I intercede for every burden you carry and every worry you have my child. Get to know my heart and when you know my heart you can also change yours to be like mine. Draw close to me today and I will surely draw close to you says the Lord. Amen.
