You Were Born to Overcome

My child I want to show you my heart today. For so often you strive and think that if you run hard that you will reach me. However, I have heard you before you even cried out to me. I have answered even before you have asked. I am a father that delights in seeing you succeed and in overcoming.
Yes, I am firm and I want you to stand on your own feet. I want you to become strong and to arm yourself against the works of the enemy. However I am also a tender father that longs to hold you in my arms and to remind you that you can overcome anything in your path. For at times it might feel like I am not there, but realize that I am standing right next to you.
I have trained you. I have equipped you and now I am sending you out to overcome! I have put my trust in you, that is why I have sent you into the battlefield! I have not led you in this direction to crush you, but rather so that you can see your worth.
For it is only when you have entered the battle and then won, that you realize what you have inside of you! It is only in the victory that you come to see what you have gained through the season of training. So do not despise the season of battle, but rather see it as an opportunity to solidify the strength and ability that you have gained.
So embrace the pressures and realize that I have given you everything you need to overcome today. I stand by your side as a proud father, delighted to see you taking everything that I have taught you and using it. Stand strong my child. Fight in faith and realize that you were born to overcome says the Lord. Amen
