Shaped Into Something Beautiful
Look at a young child who plays with Play Dough or Plasticene. He shapes and molds the material into whatever he desires. And he gets great joy and pleasure out of doing this. But many times the things that he molds and the designs that he creates are immature or have flaws in them.
I too am a Master designer, who also molds and shapes for His joy and satisfaction. For indeed, even as my Word says, I am the potter and you are the clay. But the difference with me is that I mold and shape you into something beautiful; into something with no flaws. And more importantly, I mold and shape you into something that is mature and usable.
For I love you so much my child, and my heart just thrills with delight when I see the beautiful picture that I have for you, and when I have shaped you and finished my design for your life. For then I stand back, and like I said when I first created the world, I say, “It is good!”
So now my child I say, “You are good! You are beautiful! You are worthy of all that I have put into you. For I did not destine you to small, insignificant things, but rather that you would be a vessel of beauty that others could see.
No matter what shape, size or form I have molded you into, know that it is in my perfect plan and part of my design – and it is good! So do not compare yourself with others, but take what I have given to you, no matter what it looks like, and use it to bring blessing and joy to others. Then I will continue to smile on you and continue to look with joy on you, my beautiful creation!
