Turn on The Light

It does not matter how dark things might look, because it only takes a flicker of a flame to dispel that darkness and bring warmth into the cold. My child, even though at times the circumstances might seem to press down on you, remember that my light and my power is greater than any work of darkness.
However when you focus on the dark, you see everything in shadows. The objects look larger than life and then the imaginations of your mind begin to paint pictures of things that are not there. You fumble around trying to find the truth. Simply turn on the light! Bring me into your situation. Allow me to illuminate the dark things and soon what seemed like a huge obstacle in your path will reveal itself as a small hurdle that is easy to leap over.

For this is the nature of the enemy. To take something small and to make it look big! To roar as a lion to make you feel like you are overcome before you even begin. However just a moment of truth reveals his plans and the shadow is revealed for what it truly is - an illusion!

For when you turn on the light and you see my plan everything is clear and you are well able to walk this road. Your emotions begin to rise again and you can see that the way is open and not blocked! So come into my presence. Allow me to shine the light in your situation and to cause you to see things from my perspective and then you can put the enemy in his place. Then you can move forward quickly and overcome says the Lord.
