Rest in My Presence

My child, when you have been out all day, like a farmer that has labored all day in the hot sun, there is a time to come in and rest from your work. Come into my presence and refresh yourself from the burdens of the day.
Come and lay your head on my chest and rest like a child in the arms of their mother. For as you come into my presence, your tired muscles will lose their ache, and your tired mind will be filled with pictures of hope for the next season. For as much as you work and toil, there will come a time that you will do all that you can do, and the next step is in My hands.
Like a field that has been planted, after your work has been finished, it will be on Me to send the sun and the rain so your harvest will grow. So remember that as you work, there is a time to rest, and true rest and refreshing can be found in Me!
So come to Me my child, and rest in my arms. Trust that as you take the time to spend with Me, that is the time that my hand can move on your field, and make it prosper. Amen.
