An Abundance Waits for You

I am full of goodness my child. I am like a honeycomb that is so full of honey that drips and spills over the edges. Many of my children see me as a God of wrath and anger, but I am also a God of plenty and blessing. I am here to feed you and to grant you the desires of your heart. For I did not give my children in Israel just dry bread to eat, but I fed them honey by my very hand! I caused the very rocks to split open and give them honey and milk.

I delight in seeing you blessed and being made full my child. So run to me and receive from me as a little child. Look at me as a young child does a father whose hand is full of candy. For my hand is full of goodness. I have destined good things for you and not evil. Not only am I full of goodness, but I overflow with it!

For when I bless you, I will not just satisfy your hunger, but I will give you an abundance of that goodness so that you will have plenty to pour out to others as well. So come and see me as a father who delights to honor and bless you. I do not want to punish you or cause you to suffer to receive my blessings. No my child, I only desire that you come to me in faith and love. Come as a young child who is eager to climb onto their father’s lap to receive the goodies that he knows are in store.

When you approach me like this, I cannot help but be stirred towards you. I cannot help but want to pour out every blessing to you. So run to me and receive my goodness, for I hold nothing back from you this day says the Lord. Amen.
