Planted by the River

I have planted you by the water my child, so that you may flourish and bear good fruit. Just like a tree by the river never worries about the nutrients and the refreshment it needs because the underground stream of the river supplies it, so do you not need to worry about anything as long as you stay close to me.

Know that my presence in your life is like that river that always has water. My presence brings refreshment but also nourishment to you so that you never have to worry whether you will bear fruit in the season to come. When you are planted in me and securely in my presence, you will always bear good fruit.

So, spread out your roots freely and settle in my presence, says the Lord. For I am the water of life and I have everything that you need, says the Lord.
