Participate in Life

My child, if you just look at a picture, you can only imagine what it may be like to be there. You see a picture of a forest and an open meadow, and you could only dream of what it may smell like and what the wind would feel like. Yet to experience the fullness, you must actually be there.

In the same way, I do not want you to just imagine what it may be like in life, my child. I want you to taste and smell and touch the beauty of life in its fullness.

I want you to live each moment to the fullest. So do not be afraid to reach out and touch, to feel, and to be fully affected by life. Do not simply observe and look on in from the outside, but step out and seize the moments in front of you.

I laughed with children and I debated with the elders. I dined with families and I partied at weddings. I LIVED and so shall you, my child. Do not be afraid, but step out and participate in the many blessings that I have given you! Amen.
