Rejoice in Victories!

So many times you look at the weeds in your life and how much more work has to be done. You look at all that is wrong and you forget how far you’ve come. If you just stop for a moment and realize that actually, there will ALWAYS be weeds, there will always be work to be done, but that if you look behind you… you will see how many Goliaths you have slayed. You will see how many victories are under your belt. You will see that you are no longer the same person I found, but a new creature, mighty and strong in Me.

I am proud of you for your strength in overcoming the evil one and I see the tests that you have passed in my Name. Yet, you forget to rejoice in Me and to remember the great work that I started in you and the grace that continues to work in your life.

Stop for a moment then, and look at how much I have already done in you. Look and see where you were just a season ago and how far I have taken you since then. Only then you can see that you are even further than you realize. So stop for a moment my child and take notice of all the completed works I’ve done in your life. You are a new creature even from yesterday… so take your eyes off of the weeds right in front of you and trust in the work of my Holy Spirit in you… that I have done a good job in your life and will continue to do so. Amen.
