Walk on Water

Though the waves may rise and the clouds may gather, know that I am greater than all of these my child. For just as Peter asked to walk out to me on the stormy waters, so also do I invite you to walk with me on the waters. You must look to me alone and not to the winds and waves that you see my child.
Look into my eyes and when you do this, you will surely walk on water. You will accomplish what you thought was impossible and you will do only what I give you strength to do. Then you will look back at the solid ground that you have come from and you will be amazed. You will see that I have led you by my very hand.
You will see that I have fed you and that I have carried you. You will see that you have accomplished great things not in your own strength, but in my mighty name. So come to me today my child and walk on the water with me. Take that step of faith. Take hold of my hand, looking at nothing else but into my eyes alone.
Do not look at your needs. Do not look at your storms. Do not look at the winds that would try to steal from you. Rather look into my eyes and find your peace there. Then as you do that, the sound of the wind will die down. You will no longer see the storms and you will not feel tossed around any longer.
Instead you will feel a peace that passes all understanding entering into your heart. Then when this moment comes, you will look down and see that you have surely walked on water and overcome all of these circumstances. So come child, take my hand and we will do the impossible together, says the Lord. Amen.
