YOU ARE MY WEAPON

You are my weapon

Just as a rock in a sling shot is held back to be catapulted into the distance, so I am building my power and my anointing in your life. Perhaps you have felt restricted and confined.
You have looked into the distance, but feel like you are not moving forward. Do not be dismayed my child, for I am only holding you back, to sling you forward.
Just as this rock is pulled back to gather momentum, so I am building you up and completing my work in you to send you off. So take this time to be built up, to be trained, to receive, to gain knowledge and understanding. To have within you the fruit of my work and the fruit of my spirit that, so that when you are released, you will soar in great length and reach distant places.
You are indeed an arrow in my quiver and I will shoot you off to destroy the works of darkness. You are a mighty weapon in my hands. But first, be still and let me forge you.
Let me sharpen your blades, that when you cut, you cut deep into the flesh and clean across my enemies. So that when I aim you… you will be that straight arrow that hits the target, dead and center. That is how I see you, and that is what I am gearing you for, my child. That is what you are in Me.
I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future and an expected end. So do not be anxious. Do not worry that you will come up short. You have a Father who has made plans and back plans, and back up, back up plans for you. So do not fear the future, but do not rush forward also. Rest in who I am. I am God and I am sovereign and I will have my way in your life, says the Lord.Amen.
