Winter is not a time to go outside and cut the grass, till the soil, and plant your seeds. Winter is a time when the soil is resting from producing crops and sprouting grass. There is a time and a season for everything.
Just because I have called you to fight, this does not mean that you will run around picking fights with the devil all the time. There are times when you just need to sit back and rest, knowing that I have everything under control.
Yes, you need to stand up and take your land. Yes, you need to set the oppressed free. Yes, there are many tasks for you to accomplish. Yet, my child, if you cannot hear my voice to stop when you need to stop, rest when you need to rest, and run when you need to run, then you are going to undo the very work that you have labored to do.
So step back, my child. Come to me and take a moment to see what time and season it is for you right now. Each season is just as important as the next. Make sure to follow me throughout each one and you will indeed reach your promise, says the Lord.
